What version of HDMI can this handle? null

The HDMI cable needed for this unit is a High Speed cable that supports full 1080P, 4k, ultra HD, 3D, Ethernet and ARC. The unit itself does not play 3D's Blue-rays. The earlier version plays the 3D. Just a point of information if you have a 7.1 system and plan on using a digital optical cable it will only recognize a 5.1 system. The blue-ray would have to be connected directly to the TV or connected to a receiver that has HDCP2.2 which will upscale 1080P to 4k.
