“Is this DVD player region free? Will it play region B Blu-ray DVD's?”

• Negative. Since you purchased this unit in the United State, the player is set to Regions A for BluRay, and Region 1 for DVD's. With that said, you can purchase software for your computer that will allow you to manually switch regions.
