• When a movie starts to play there is an info banner at the top of the screen. This will show 1080p for regular Blu-rays and 2160p for 4K. Hit the Tools button to see while playing.

• The difference is displayed on the quality of the image, for example regular blu ray is going to show 1080p picture quality, meanwhile 4k will definitely going to display a 2160p picture quality. Right when it starts it is displayed by the player, if u don't notice u can also see it when u pause or unpause
