“Does this T5 automatically transfer what I am saving on my pc to the external drive, or do I have to do this manually?”

It comes with a software that can walk you through a PC backup but I did it manually because it was easy. This drive is super fast and would highly recommend it over tradional external hard drives.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It’s the same as any other internal or external Drive, you need to move the files yourself. Unless it’s set up as a time machine back up etc., and connected to your computer to keep running.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You move files manually. It's not difficult if you set your files up with foresight. Now if you are working on a file that already resides on the T5, it will save to the external drive when you hit save.
