“I purchased this monitor for my son's gaming PC and it does not work. The screen is black and is not showing the image on the screen. The monitor is on and I'm able to change the menu. I've tried 3 different HDMI cords with same result. Please help.”

Make sure you're plugging up the other end of the HDMI cord into the correct area of the Computer as if he's using PC with a Graphics Card you should plug it in through there and not on the motherboard as not all CPU's don't have video.
