Yes it is made for gaming! In fact it's highly reviewed as one of the top gaming external SSD's! This item I had to locate in the gaming section of the store where they keep the Nintendo switches and other ps5, xbox seriex X accessories locked up. Strongly recommend this product to improve load times, you will notice a huge difference.
