Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mine wedged behind my tv on its side. I have had it where the top of the player was leaning against the wall but the disc would slip off the tray when closing. If you have the bottom of the player lean against the wall the disc will remain in the tray and play just fine. I do think it vibrates / hums a bit when playing the disc because of how fast the disc spins. But it works just fine on its side.
