• no, this player doesn't have Voice Recognition ... only a smart hub for wifi connection ... there may be a remote console out there that is programed to manage TV, Receiver, Blue Ray and other devices and it may have VR but it's be mucho $$$$ ... hope this helps. It is a great BRay DVD unit though!!

• Not really. You could use Amazon Alexa to tell a Harmony Elite remote to perform basic blu-ray functions but there is no direct voice control of the player.
