I bought the Samsung 4k UHD Blu-ray player and it has exceeded my expectations! Great picture, sound and it accommodates my Samsung 4-K tv perfectly! Great combination!

Great picture. Easy to install. Works great with my Samsung TV.

I have this paired with a 65" Samsung NU8500 and the picture quality is absolutely stunning. Setup was a breeze and the user interface feels well thought out and simple to interact with. I've tested with a wireless connection and experienced no drop-outs or buffering whilst streaming in HD, and with a wired connection streaming in 4K is perfect. The remote I do feel is somewhat limited, but it does what it needs to and can easily be thrown in a drawer if you use the Samsung Smart Things app on a phone - which I do greatly prefer. 3rd party apps are plentiful and it came preloaded with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and Google Play Movies and TV as well as Samsung's native internet browser. All in all a really great player and well worth the money.

I am very well pleased with my purchase of this Samsung player. It has proven to be an excellent player without any problems as yet. I have owned it for about 6 months now. The only thing I am not really happy with is the size of the remote control. I think it is a little small in size and it is easy to put your finger on the wrong button when controlling the player. This is not a major problem in my situation since I use a Logitech Harmony Elite to control all my audio and video equipment in my living room and bedrooms and do not use the Samsung remote that came with the player. I would recommend it to anybody who is interested in a 4K player. This is the first 4K player that I have owned and I like it's features. I also own a second Samsung player (model #8500 which is one model # below this one) that I use in our bedroom and I am also very well pleased with it also. Thank you for reading my review.

Excellent picture with a 4k DVD when playing thru my Samsung 4k TV. Easy to set up to my Denon stereo and the remote controller is easy to use. The player is bigger than the Sony player I was using, so I had to move some equipment around to fit into my cabinet. Other than that, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase

This is a great 4k player. The picture quaility on HD or 4K is excellent and the up-scaling on DVDs is very good. Remote even has volume controls for the TV (unfortunately they only work with Samsung TVs).

This model is a huge leap above all prior Blu Ray players that I have owned. It starts up quickly, looks fantastic and offers a large variety of apps. Menu navigation is also as smooth as I have seen. It has dual HDMI out, the second one is audio only, to connect a TV directly and provide audio to a receiver. My only drawback is that there is not yet an HBO Go or Now app for Samsung players. This is a minor item, but I wanted to be sure anyone knows that up front. The apps are now available for Samsung TVs so hopefully the player version will be available soon.

i was a little worried buying this player since my 4k lg tv does not have HDR like the new ones i think it has standard hdr. after installing it it work great it was my first 4k experience with a 4k dvd i have always seen videos only at tge store. i was worried that the players colors would not work with my lg tv and that it will look orage like soome videos ppl posted on youtube but this does not happened to me, im happy with my purchase tons for apps and great crystal sound. my av receiver works better than before my klipsch hometheater sound amazing compaared to the blueray dvd i haad plugged in before i guess it was not sending the appropiate format sound to my receiver. i hightly recommend thiss player best purchase i made on black friday thank you best buy.

THE BLU-RAY PLAYER IS OUTSTANDING. IT IS EASY TO OPERATE AND THE PICTURE QUALITY FOR DISKS IS GREAT. AGAIN THE ONLY COMPLAINT THAT I WOULD HAVE IS THAT THE REMOTE CONTROL DOES NOT LIGHT UP BECAUSE THE FUNCTIONS ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE IN THE DARK.

Very pleased with the quality of the M9500. I just purchased a 65”QLED and this 4K UBD M9500 compliments the perfect combination. The ease of setup and picture quality is Amazing!! The Upscaling this player does with all of regular Blue-ray movies looks so much better.

Samsung has did it again. This player is unbelievable way better than the older model. The 4K Picture is so Sharp and clear it makes you think you’re watching the movie from the theater. A must have if your looking for a 4K DVD player.

I got it to go with my 65 in curved Samsung TV 4K and the Samsung sound system Altmos. I previously was watching 4k Blu-rays on the white Xbox let me tell you the difference on picture on this Blu-ray player and the sound is worth the extra price Plus honestly it's so much easier to navigate The great thing is my Samsung TV remote will actually operate everything so I only need one remote Definitely a awesome addition I haven't had a chance to try anything else time will tell

Plugged it in, plugged in the wire, quick on screen setup... slid in a 4K disc and bammmm!!! it was like being in a theatre right at home. If there was one thing I wonder about it would be why it’s so big.

I've been loving this thing. Very easy to use and the play back has been 100% so far. Doesnt appear to degrade the picture at all when streaming to TV, everything i expected from samsung.

Great BluRay player. The images are extremely clear and vivid. It was easy to setup and once setup it plays when a disc is placed in the unit. The price went down some shortly after my purchase and I still think it was a good deal for the quality of sound and picture produced by this blu ray player.

I upgraded the tv to 4K & I own lots of Blu Ray discs, so I needed a 4K player. This one does what it claims to-makes any old disc look great, gives easy access to all the Apps (Netflix Prime Hulu etc), and sets up in a flash. When you watch a 4K disc, the picture & sound are unmatched. It was easy to connect & even easier to set up.

I have owned many high end DVD, HD DVD, and Blue-Ray Players. This 4K Player does an outstanding job reading 4k disk content, and auto configuring HDR content with the UN75MU800. I am very satisfied with its audio decoding quality with the options of its codec choices. I have not done much streaming with it so far but it matches the performance of the MU8000 that I am pleased with. Another fine product offered by Samsung that compliments the MU8000 very well.

This player is incredible. Picture is crystal clear, its easy to use and it synch's up with my Samsung TV.
