Yes, the WIS12ABGN LinkStick will work with the BD-D5500. The manual notes an earlier version (WIS09ABGN Linkstick) that was released, but the WIS12 model will be compatible for wireless streaming with your wireless access point or router. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr.Samsung
