• It depends on the Amps that the source can hold. I bought an Anker that holds a 2A worth a charge, so I could charge a tablet a few times, but perhaps a different charger only has enough A to charge a regular cell phone battery. this product will charge a phone faster than your standard charger. Here's a quote from an article I found about the fast charging pad. "When plugged into the included Adaptive Fast Charging wall plug, the new Wireless Charging Pad will juice up a Galaxy Note 5 or S6 edge+ from dead to full in just over an hour and a half, which is considerably faster than a standard wireless charger." • yes it takes longer for your phone to charge on the wireless charger than if you directly plug the cord into the phone to charge (a fairly significant difference),

• I have found the wireless charger to charge my phone at nearly the same rate as a standard cord charge. If you use the Samsung fast charger that came with your phone, that is the quickest charge option.

• Yes it does. I love it for at the office though. It's nice when you are running around at work and set it down. Can set it on charger instead and have it charge some.
