As a owner and an audio video technician the answer to your question is no . I own two systems and they are easy and reliable to use . You need to trun the system off and then hold down the volume button tell the I'd pairing prompt displays on the sound bar. Then the blue light will stop flashing and stay solid on the receiver for the wireless speakers. Aslo make sure the wires are properly seated in the terminals on the back of the speakers. I normally charge for this info. Will SAVS
