“I am planning to use these with the HW-Q60T soundbar. Will they work correctly if I'm running sound from my TV to the sound bar using an optical audio cable? Or does it require an HDMI ARC connection to work?”

Hi Chris! You can connect the SWA-8500S Rear Kit to your HW-Q60T Soundbar whether it is connected to your TV via Optical or HDMI cable. ^Gina
