Hi Pat123! Please ensure the wiring on your SWA-8500S rear speakers is connected properly, and the connected pieces are not inserted too far into the speaker units. Please try again later.On the remote, cycle through the options and make sure that the rear speaker say “on” and the very next option after that use the circular function to adjust the rear speaker volumes. Do not use the horizontal plus/minus volume button. Also, at the back of the rear speakers make sure the wire isn’t inserted too far and makes contact with the metal, that was my first mistake.
