Does not appear to be. The SWA-8500S User Manual, page 10, has a rather extensive list of 18 compatible models of sound bars, and the J6500 is not included. It is copyrighted 2017 and states a caveat advising that you should go to their web page and check the full manual instead of the sound bar in question.

No, the soundbar is only compatible with HW-M360, HW-M450, HW-M4500, HW-M550 sound bar models.
