Unplug it from the wall and plug it back in to reset it. Follow the trouble shoot in the booklet. It didn't work for me the first time either. When I tried it the second time, it still took a couple minutes to kick in. Now it works everytime the soundbar is turned off and on
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure your sound bar is compatible. Look in the rear speakers manual booklet to check compatibility.

You have to shut the sound bar off, then press the volume button on the remote as if you were depressing the button to mute the volume. Do not flick the volume button up or down because it will not pair. Some of the answers I read in the Q and A said you had to push the volume button UP as if you were increasing the volume, but if fact you have to push the volume button in, as if you were depressing the button, or muting. Then the whole process worked like a charm. You have to depress the button for at least 5 seconds. I was also told to try pressing the actual mute button on the remote for 5 secs if the volume button didn't work at pairing. Makes sense...depressing the volume button is like muting so actually either button should do it.
