I believe the answer is yes. These speakers are only compatible with a couple of specific models of Samsung sound bars. The Samsung's web site I believe is incorrect or out of date because my sound bars were not listed and compatible yet they are. I would call the store and speak to a Samsung sales expert before purchase or just wing it.
