• COMPATIBLE. It does work! Unplug the wireless receiving module. Press and hold MUTE on the soundbar remote while the soundbar is off. Once it flashes ID SET, plug in the wireless receiver module. Once it blinks blue, turn the soundbar on and it should connect. Pretty easy once we figured it out!

• Yes I have the hw m550 and it works perfectly..even without the bluetooth dongle..!

• Sorry the Swa-9000s does not work with the HW-M550 sound bar. But the good news is that the Samsung SWA-8500S Best Buy SKU Number 5754510 does. And they are just as good. Hope that helps you
