Can this one pair with HW-N850 null

This pairs perfectly with the HW-N850.

Yes, I had to reset the soundbar then all is good

It works. You won't need the dongle. Just plug speakers up to module and module to outlet. Then press id button on back of the soundbar and they will pair. You can control the rear speakers by using the settings button on the remote.
