See how Chrome book formats drives. This comes formatted as xFat . Windows can use this better if it is Formatted as NTSF instead of xFat. see what the Chrome will accept.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Files don’t change going onto or off of the drive. There’s many ways to move it. I used file manager in windows and it was fine. Plug it in and move away.
