“Is there still 'dead air' between tracks? I have an older SanDisk sansa clip - between tracks, that were written to blend into one another, there is an annoying silent pause. Do the new clips still do this?”

• I have a Clip+ and a Sport, each about 1 year old, and I've listened to "live" music on both of them without any drop outs or silence between tracks. Truth be told, I prefer the Clip+ over the more expensive Sport.

• On the Clip Sport there is no break between tracks or sections on digital book tracks. However on multiple CD books they have to be advanced manually.
