No you can't download it directly from the mp3. It's old school, so it can't connect to wifi. You will need to download music from your computer and connect it to your mp3 player and transfer it over. I think you can download audio books as long as it's in the right format.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only way to put music onto the player is via drag and drop from a computer. Re Audiobook . When you connect to a pc you'll see a folder called audiobooks (or podcasts). Anything dropped into that dolder is treated as an audiobook when the player is in use; meaning that in the menu, separate from the music function there is a function called Books and your audiobook files will appear there.(These files are played as regular audio files only that the player bookmarks where you leave off).
