• Best buy sells a sony cd boom box that will convert cds to mp3 to attached thumb drive. Load music from thumb drive to mp3 player. Buy both units under $150.00. Own your own music.

• The answer is yes you can download your audio CDs into this player although I have noticed that if you convert them with like a program such as windows media player and convert the audio from the original format to MP3 it is higher quality.
