• You should not have a problem at all. I use my SanDisk with a 2nd generation iPad so I wouldn't worry at all about an iPad 4.

• I don't see why it wouldn't work. It connects via Wi-Fi (creates it's own hotspot that you hook up to essentially) so I don't think the version or iOS should matter as long as it can get a WiFi connection.

• Yes that is what I used it for. My OS is newer but I don't think that would matter.
