• It should work fine. If I remember correctly it came formatted as FAT32 which is compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems. If it isn't compatible, you can always reformat it using Mac OS's built in "Disk Utility" software.

• A USB drive is compatible with any USB port. It is just another drive to a PC or Mac.

• Yes. Flash memory (no spinning hard drive) is typically compatible with both MAC and Windows without having to jump through hoops. Just plug, copy, go. It's the ones with the mini hard drives that spin that need to be formatted for either Windows or MAC.

• Yes. If it needs formatted for mac to reconize it use disk utility. If need it also read by windows PC then format to exfat.
