I've never seen a car stereo require anything other than putting the drive in and taking it out. As the car stereo isn't writing to the drive, there's no reason to have any kind of an EJECT command.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is no concern for safe insertion or removal. You have on your computer an Eject option before you perform both read and write accesses. In the car, you are only reading and therefore do not need to be careful about when you remove the stick. If you want to be on the safe side, just insert and remove the stick when the car is powered off, but its not necessary.
