A:Answer Yes you can, you can put any file you want on this USB, and then, if anything happens to your computer/system, the files will be intact, as long as the files don't require something that only your computer had, and that has it no longer, let's say, a Sony Vegas project (video editor); if you had Sony Vegas, and you save your project, then reboot the system, and you DO NOT install Sony Vegas again, then the file will be useless until you install Sony Vegas again, or use it on another computer that has Sony Vegas.
