• I had sd card errors on the first one also. Returned/swapped out for a replacement and no issues.. Seems to be a hit or miss I guess.

• Should work with anything that accepts a full size ScanDisk card. It's a possibility that your 128GB card was corrupt.

• It should read it, my camera also uses 128GB SanDisk and it works fine. Make sure you didn't bend a pin upon inserting the disk into the reader.
