      Write speed slower than claims

I am a professional photographer and therefore always on the lookout for fast writing SD cards for rapid photo shooting. This card in a Nikon d750 shooting in RAW format is way slower than the write speed on the package. Note: since the adapter for the MicroSD to SD card size is a pass-through adapter, it adds very little lag. I like to use microsd cards rather than full size sd cards in my camera because it adds a layer of extra protection and durability. The contacts aren't exposed directly to dust, are covered to prevent damage if you accidentally touch them or drop the card. If the adapter gets dirty or damaged just replace it- it's cheap and you probably have extra laying around from the MicroSD in your phone or tablet anyway... Some advice: the speed manufacturers brag about on the front is READ speed, which is NOT what determines how fast you can take photos. WRITE speed is what you are looking for, and it will be in teeny tiny print on the back of the package, and always is a qualified claim, as in: "write speeds UP TO". Oh and by the way: always (ALWAYS!) get at least a Class 10 card. Memory is too cheap now to justify the much slower Classes. And nearly everything nowadays is at least basic Class 10 since that only means guaranteed to read at a minimum of 10mb/sec!

I bought this to upgrade my Galaxy S7 memory card from 64gb to 128gb because I was almost out of memory. I had the data transferred to my computer and used a card-reader to transfer from the computer to the new card. It was EXTREMELY fast! Literally minutes to transfer 62gb of files! BUT, I am having problems transferring data to the memory card when it is in the phone using a USB connection to the computer. It may copy a few items, then totally freeze up. I have to 'safely' remove device and plug back in to get a few more files copied before freezing up. I gave up. SOLUTION... I have to remove the SD card from the phone and transfer files using a 3.0 card-reader. Instantly copied with no problems. I don't know if it's the phone that doesn't like the 128gb memory card or what. The memory card was formatted on my phone before putting any data on & was ejected and inserted properly. I still love SanDisk products & will probably upgrade to another one when the time comes.

PROS -Above average audio w/decent bass -Relatively quick connectivity with Apple Phones -Small size, fits just like Apple Ear Pods -AMAZING battery life -Pauses when a Pod is removed from the ear, and auto plays when Pod is replaced in the ear (usually) CONS (areas for improvement) -No buttons means controlling pause/play and skip is nearly impossible -Occasional loss of connectivity in areas surrounded by electrical signals/machinery -Max volume can be considered low when ambient noise is overwhelming CONCLUSION These guys work better than I would imagine, but there is still room for improvement. I use headphones too often to not buy them, but adding on the buttons as the regular Ear Pods would make them near perfect. I do suggest these for anyone interested, but I might suggest purchasing an iWatch just so you still have volume/pause-skip control on hand...

I found out at the last minute that I needed a bigger memory card for my brother's wedding videos, which was out of town, as was I. I knew I could shop comfortably at Best Buy and not have to worry about any quality or return issues. I picked up this 128GB SanDisk Extreme Plus memory card. The memory card handled the high-definition 360 videos of the wedding and reception, and the fast-read speed let us make quick data transfers (I wasn't giving him another gift). The memory card handled the outside humidity, as well as the temperature change from outside to inside, and vice versa, without any issues, and by the end of the night I was more concerned about battery failure in the 360 cam over the card being an issue. Would have given 5 stars but for the price.

I bought this for DVR device, with multiple streams at the same time (4). I tried a regular before, and I had video stalls. But someone recommended me the V3 speed, and I have to thanks that advice. It has been working for more than 3 weeks so far. Smooth video in all streams, and the storage report from the device says "storage idle 65% of the time". This means this SDCard is saving the data fast enough as to still get more than half of the time to rest. Very happy. I plan to buy a couple more - one to swap it regularly (one saving, while I reviewing the other one), and another one as back-up.

I am a long time purchaser of SanDisk SD cards. This one is for my LG V20 phone, and it works well, as I would expect. I store media on it, like photos, videos, and (probably a thousand) songs. I also use it to store large files that I have temporarily: downloaded Google maps data for navigating in areas without cell phone coverage, and Google play movies that I've downloaded via wifi for watching away from wifi (or without cell service). Previous purchases of these kind of SD cards (though smaller capacity) have been used for digital cameras of my wife and children (I still use a film camera(!), though increasingly I use my phone for pictures and videos).

I purchased this card to be used in my drone while I'm shooting 4K video. 4K video requires much faster data transmission to the SD card, so it is imperative to get a card that is fast enough for your 4K equipment. The original price on this 128 GB SD card was $300, but they matched the price of B&H Photo, and sold it to me for $67. I saved over $200 because of Best Buy's price matching policy. They are incredibly helpful and will price match anything on B&H photo's website.

      Must-Have for Nintendo Switch

I bought this for my Nintendo Switch because I prefer downloadable eShop games to physical cartridges and it is an absolute necessity for anyone that wants to take their Switch to the next level. I currently have 48 games installed on this card, including Doom, Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, Resident Evil Revelations2, and Monster Hunter XX, and I still have around 70 GB free. Games also load slightly faster than their cartridge counterparts (although this is negligible, as cartridges are already much faster than discs). It's a little pricey but certainly worth the cost.
