Please know that the SanDisk Extreme Game Drive for PS5 and the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD are very similar in performance, but the Game Drive is officially designed and styled for PlayStation use, while the Extreme Portable SSD is a more general-purpose drive for everyday use. Both can work with a Mac, including macOS 15.7, as standard external drives. If you are not specifically using it for PS5, the Extreme Portable SSD is usually the better value option.
