For my needs, the 64 GB card was necessary. I do use 32 GB cards as backups in case my two 64 GB cards fill up. I am not in a position to evaluate the use of this card in a Canon camera, because I have only used a Nikon. However, if the 64 GB San Disk card works as well in the Canon as it does in my Nikon, it will be terrific. The Best Buy folks will be able to tell you what cameras can use a card this size.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on what you will use for and how frequently you will download off the card onto your computer. On a point and shoot I've gotten 3MB per picture and on a DLSR I am getting 10 MB per picture. Videos will require more capacity, and with the point and shoot I am using 250 to 300 MB for a 1 minute clip.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This card is a fast load card recommended for photos. The obvious answer is you will run out of memory much faster with a 32G. The write speed is actually causing what many perceive as shutter lag time. This card will remove any bottlenecks and will let you take pictures as fast as the camera will allow.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only advantage with the 64GB is the extra space will allow for more pictures/videos. But if you are shooting videos, it is important to focus on the read/write speed as well. If you are only taking pictures, then speed is not an issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We've used this with our canon i5 and it's worked great. I don't know if that helps but it hasn't failed us yet.
