• Hi, please be informed that the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD V2 has read and write speeds of upto 1050MB/s and 1000MB/s respectively, when used with a USB 3.2 interface. However, the SanDisk Extreme Portable PRO SSD V2 has read and write speeds of upto 2000MB/s each, when used with a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface.

• Speed. Pure and simple. It is twice as fast. It will allow you to edit pictures or video from the external drive without having to download them to the computer first.

• The difference between Extreme USB type-C and Extreme Pro USB 3.1 are the read and writable speeds from 105Okbps to 2000kbps moving and storing large media files. The interface USC type-C is ready on this device but compatible to USC-A if needed utilizing an adapter which is included. USB-C to USB-C is the fastest interface connection. Hope this helps.
