• Please make sure that this SSD is connected to USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gb/s) then only it will provide its optimum speed, please verify if your iMac 2013 has USB 3.2 Gen 2 port(10Gb/s). However, it is backward compatible with USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and will also have a drop in speed.
