I don't think any phone would need the speed that the Extreme Pro has

Canon, Nikon, Sony and other cameras will benefit from cards like this, but phones aren't exactly the same since most of the internals are solid state parts the phone overall is quite fast. The amount of storage you're inquiring about is a good amount for the long run, and since it's an SD, it's better to have that storage in your SD not your phone in case something happens to the phone. I'd personally say go for it, but "SDXC" is more for speed. You'd be better just getting a plain old 128gb that isn't the "EXTREME". Just some ideas! Hope I helped - Joshua
