Format is ExFAT for the Sandisk SSD usb drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.All Sandisk drives 64GB and larger are formatted at the factory as exFAT, to support files larger than 4GB. The drive can be formatted as FAT32, but then you have the 4GB file size limitation. I have used freeware downloaded from the Web to accomplish formatting as FAT32, and it works perfectly fine for devices (typically older) that do not recognize / cannot handle the exFAT that comes on the drive from the factory.
