• It should work with any USB port. I just plugged in to my regular desktop usb. No special port.

• I Really don't know. I use mine with an iMac. But I don't why it should not. I also have 2 PCs with Windows professional. Those things are all plug and play. It"s just like putting an SD card into your laptop.
