• I don’t use iMac, but I believe that info is in the specifications when your looking. I thought it showed it was compatible with either but don’t quote me. Hope this helps.

• Not dead certain, but if you have a USB port on your iMac, I can't see any reason why it wouldn't. I find mine extremely, if not often, useful--I can even read the card from my cell phone!
