So far mine has withstood high temperatures without any problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this card in my KDLINKS dash cam everyday. I leave my camera mounted in my truck even when I'm not in it. I live in S Florida and the high temps to not effect it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I've had no problems with this micro-SD card and leaving my dash cam attached to the windshield. The inside car temperature get's pretty hot parked outside in the sun.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would expect most memory cards to handle some higher than normal temps because they are inserted in a case that somewhat insulates them. Unfortunately being on the dash, they do not get any real benefit from the AC or Heater in winter. Residual heal from the dash cam will add to the operational heat picked up from the cam electronics. Expect most memory chips to have shorter lifetimes under these conditions. Once the elements start to fail , you will notice streaks in your cam still pictures or video interference in the cam files . Once you see that , replace the chip immediately to insure you have reliable storage media. I would recommend to watch for aberrations' after a year depending on amount of usage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know how well it would hold up in high temps, what I do know is SanDisk will void the warrenty if you use it in a dash cam. They said I needed to use one of their high performance micro SD cards in that type of device. Using it in a Flir FX ruined my SD card.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check the Sandisk website: http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4687/~/sandisk-cards-environmental-tolerance-(waterproof,-temperature,-magnetic-and. Their webpage has what SanDisk cards provides for environmental tolerance (waterproof, temperature, magnetic and x-ray proof) As for temperature, it says "..Temperature proof: SanDisk SD, SDHC, microSD and microSDHC memory cards are capable of withstanding operating temperatures from -13ºF to 185ºF (-25ºC to 85 ºC)." Depending on what you would consider "high temp in a dash cam", the manufacturer says it will go up to 185 degrees F.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not tried it in a dash cam however the specs say it can perform from -13 to +180 F.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this card in my dash cam 1 to 8 hrs at a time and I got a good year out of the card.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes
