Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try using the SD Card on another device like your laptop and see if the files are still there. Also I'm not sure if it's the same as with external drives where you can't use the drive to move/access the files back and forth between Mac and PC devices. Also troubleshoot your Galaxy Tab with another SD card just to see if it reads it. I checked the specifications of the Tab 4 and it says its upgrade-able up to 128 GB so it should handle your 32 GB card. Try cleaning the contacts with alcohol. If you're able to see the files on your computer move them to a safe location and format the sd card. You can get help with the formatting here: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_3/ The last option of course is to volunteer for a good gouging and search for a local Data Recovery Service.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try reformatting the card. It should work right out of the box. In the settings under storage you should see a place to format the new card. Also you should Unmount it before taking it out of the phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Many SD card slots, mainly older hardware, can't access the 32GB. I do not know if your equipment can only see a memory card sizes up to 16GB, but you can test it by PARTITIONING the 32GB SD card into TWO 16GB partitions and format the first partition only! Re-insert the SD card and test your equipment and if it works, your device can't address anything larger than 16GB. BUT I must advice you that this does not work 100% at a time, some devices can't recognize even a partitioned SD card! The second test is to format the SD card in your computer - make sure to use DEFAULT SETTINGS! You must click on the DEFAULT SETTINGS button during the FORMAT of the SD card. When your SD card is formatted, try to insert it again. Third possibility is that your equipment does not like this particular brand or this model so please try a different card or brand and test both 16GB and 32GB cards! Lastly, these MINI SD CARDS are so tiny that many people insert them incorrectly and even damage the card or the SD slot, so pay attention.

Last week, I had the same issue you were having; the phone was telling me that my card wasn't installed, and it "gray"d out a few of my apps that were installed on the card. I power-cycled the phone multiple times, but it never changed anything. Eventually, I powered down the phone, and simply left it powered off for a couple of hours while I was vegging on a movie. Powered it back up, and everything was miraculously back to normal! I'm assuming that there must have been some Samsung update that caused this issue. Again, I hope you resolved yours by now and did NOT reset the phone to the original settings. That would be such a bummer!! :-/ Good luck!
