I had an issue with the Pixtor not working properly in my GoPro HERO 5 Black. It made the camera lock up. Put an Extreme Plus in and it was back to normal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have both a 64gb extreme plus and and a 64gb pixtor both have the word refurb embossed into them. The extreme plus is "BN made in Taiwan" and the pixtor is "BN made in China" The green PCB coloured backing on the pixtor looks a lot messier
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The extreme pro records 170 mp per sec and the Pictor is 90 mb per sec
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The difference is "speed" in recording videos. Examples are your car dash cam may require an extreme plus card to work with rather than pixtor card. Extreme plus has faster speeds of at least 80mb/sec recording.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have both and they are basically the same card. I would just go with the one that's cheaper.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe these are the same memory cards, i.e. read/write speeds. The only difference I could find after doing some research was that the "Pixtor" name is a Best Buy exclusive and that the Pixtor is considerably less money than the Extreme Plus. I use the Pixtor cards in my DSLR cameras and have been very pleased with the results.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as I can tell there is no difference other than the branding. Pixtor is the brand name sold exclusively by Best Buy, yet made by SanDisk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as I know they're both made by SanDisk. Could just be a marketing name exclusively for BestBuy. Check the card speed for your application needs. That's what I go by.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as I can tell, the only difference for my applications is the huge difference in price. Perhaps the difference is justified at the high end, but not for a point and shoot camera.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
