It can be Plug and played using an open SATA port, or converted to USB3.0 (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/startech-com-0-15-adapter-cable-for-2-5-sata-drives-usb-c-to-sata-black/5705561.p?skuId=5705561&ref=212&loc=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3o28qY-83QIVirXACh3FYwuFEAQYASABEgJsqvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds) Bestbuy's version. After plug and played, you can use the tool to copy/paste the directory wanted from your main harddrive, to the secondary, then swap on bootup through bios, to the solid state as primary. (or leave both available, and you can change it around).

you will need a USB to SATA adapter to connect it for the cloning.
