• It will help in load times and downloads and reduce some gaming lag. If you plan on having a lot of games on your computer than this is for you.

• Please be informed that you will see a significant performance boot however, game performance depends upon various factors such as processor, graphics card and Ram. Just changing or upgrading the system to SSD might not help. You can check on the internet if your system is able to run the game there are several third party website to determine it.

• This is an internal drive. If you want and external drive for you laptop then you are best served by buying an external portable drive. Plenty of options.
