Q: QuestionI had a question earlier which asked which slot this goes into and I built my own pc. My motherboard it has 4 spare PCie slots and 1 m.2 slot would that be compatible with this? in the user manual it also says "turbo m.2" which means it supports NVMe.

Please be informed that this SSD might not work in the slot that does not support NVMe SSD Drives. - A:Answer Hi, please be informed that if your laptop has an internal PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe M.2 slot, then you can connect this SSD Drive in it. In order to know if your laptop has an internal PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe M.2 slot, it would be best to contact the manufacturer of your laptop as they would have all the technical specifications for your laptop. Also, they can help you in installing it in your laptop if supported.

Q: Questionthe one i bought is showing that its gen 2 and not giving me the speeds it should.my laptop is new with gen 3 slot confirmed by manufacteuer so why am i not getting the performance.ive been in talks with sandisk dont know.

- A:Answer Perhaps it's because the sandisk you got is Gen 2 and your laptop has Gen 3 slot. That would make a difference.
