I just replaced a HDD in a HP Pavilion and it seems to work great. The PC is faster than using the old HDD. You will want to clone your old drive to the new drive before replacing it. To clone you will need special software (likely on a CD/DVD) and a special cable with a USB to hard drive connector.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If it’s a laptop size drive, absolutely. Direct replacement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have never opened or worked inside of an all-in-one. I have replaced drives in both laptops and and desktops with SSD drives and gotten much better performance. The disk connections are the same. I use EasyGig to duplicate what is on the mechanical drive so the SSD works as soon as the computer is turned on again.
