I am knowledgeable of these cards and if your device says it needs a MICRO, that is the smaller physical sized memory card which this one is. This one also came with a bigger sleeve you can put this smaller one in. The larger sleeve fits into laptop card readers. Without the sleeve, you would have to connect your device to the laptop via USB cable... if your device has that option/cable. I have mine in a Dash Cam and do not like taking my laptop into my vehicle to download video I want to save on my laptop or remove the camera from my windshield. Its easier to pop the smaller card from my Dash Cam, put it in the larger sleeve, and then insert the sleeve into the card reader on my laptop to download video. Some older devices only take a 32GB card as the file format changes when you go larger. You also need to use the class (and size - GB) recommended in your manual. FYI - class 10 is the best with these older devices and are equal to class 1 with a U around the 1. There is yet a new standard of class these days. Class has to do with the speed in which the card can record in... not the size/amount of data it can hold. You don't want to spend a lot of money for a larger (GB) card and faster class (speed) and find it is not compatible with your device. This class information is easy to look up on the internet - Google know all. Hope this helps.
