Does it have LED to indicate activity? null

It depends on exactly which particular one you end up getting. Several days ago I bought a red one and a black one, (both made in Malaysia). The red one does NOT have a light, but the black one has a blue activity light. However, roughly 6 or 9 months ago I bought a black one (made in China) of this model, and it did NOT have a light. All three are the same model: SanDisk - Ultra 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive. Also, the red one slides open way too easily, it will slide open just by pressing the end (inside where a key-ring would go) without pressing the "button". Also, If you look at the USB plug end, there are obvious differences, different designs.

Yes, at least my Black one does have an orange light when active.

yes, it does. Its blue and on the top (next to the thumb slider)
