• No it will not fit in your MBair. It requires a special mlc nand flash stick.

• Most Mac Airs utilize M.2 storage as appose to a traditional SSD to be able to make them thinner. You can upgrade the M.2 with a larger one from Best Buy such as a 500 GB or a 1 TB but will be a little more pricey than SSD.
