Great and Fast!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a larger SSD for my cinema camera and wanted to take a chance on a cheaper one, and I have not had a single problem, or dropped frames, I’m getting over 5hrs with prores and a lil over an hour with DNG RAW, really happy with the purchase and taking the chance on it!

Nothing bad to say about a SanDisk SSD
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything SanDisk is trust-worthy and their SSDs are some of the best. -- I upgrade all laptops and desktops that still use mechanical drives with a SanDisk SSD. Even if the mechanic drive is working, the benefits to switch to SSD is well-worth the effort and price!

Great SSD for Price!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a great buy on a really solid SSD. Used this to replace my stock 500 GB mechanical hard drive in my Mac Book Pro. Really good overall looking SSD with the all black sticker and case. Really good for a custom Gaming Tower install as well. Overall solid read and write to this drive. Really good drive for the price!

Upgraded my 2014 Mac Mini HDD to the San Disk SSD
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 2014 Mac Mini has been acting sluggish and I knew it was due to the many software updates Apple has. Ive watched DIY YouTube videos on how to swap the HDD, was a bit scared to do it myself but eventually did it. Now I’m a happy camper, it’s faster than it ever was, it almost feels like my Mac Mini with the M1 chip.

Excellent computer upgrade a must have
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent SSD the difference between my old mechanical hard drive & this new one is unbelievable. I went from an almost 2 minute boot time to 20 seconds...unreal.

EASY UPGRADE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a great system with the exception of my old style hdd. Long load times in games was just too much. This was super easy to install, plug it in and use free easus todo backup to clone my drive. Load times in Xcom 2 went from over a minute to 10 seconds. Other games not so dramatic, but I am very happy now.

Q: QuestionWhat are the differences between SanDisk SDSSDH3-512G-G25 and SDSSDH3-500G-G25? They cost the same and both are sold at BB. Which one should we buy? One has 12 Gig more - that is all I know.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This question has probably been answered for the satisfaction of the op, however for future questioners it may be beneficial to answer the actual difference between the drives.. The {G25} is the type of drive, and therefore both will be the same performance, mtbf, etc. The main difference is that the 500gb drive is a 4k sector structure, and the 512gb drive is an 512b sector structure.. 512b storage devices of any kind will have a storage capacity divisible by 8 and typically increase by a factor of 2xbase, so 8gb, 16gb, 32gb, 64gb, 128gb, 256gb, 512gb, 1024gb, etc. In general there will be no significant difference between the sector structure, perhaps a sight difference between lost mb's when formatted.. The 512b storage devices will generally lose a little less mb when formatted due to being easier to round off partition sizes given the smaller sector size. However there is a legacy difference in operating systems such as Unix, and variants like Linux, where those operating systems were designed to expect 512b sectors and all but the newer kernal versions of Unix variants may have trouble installing and/or managing 4k sector drives.. If you do not plan on using Unix and variants, or do not plan to replace a drive in an older Apple computer, you will likely have nothing to worry about and can purchase whichever gives you the most mb/$.

Q: QuestionI am trying to decide on buying this one or the Samsung Evo 850 500gb for the same price. This will be for my CyberPowerPC with the AMD 5 processor. Any idea which may be a better fit?
Asked by Brian.
- A:Answer Either one would be a good choice. The Samsung is slightly faster according the the specs, but in reality, you'll never see a performance difference.

Q: QuestionCan this used for a dell laptop?
Asked by Leo.
- A:Answer As long as your Dell has a 2.5in SATA HDD you can replace it. Also check the thickness of your old HDD.

Q: QuestionWould this fit for my Dell Latitude E6540? I currently have 250GB ssd installed, but i need more space. If possible, can you explain me how to transfer all the data and window 10? Do i need to purchase a converter cable?
Asked by Dan.
- A:Answer It will fit your Dell. It comes with a free software that will allow you to clone your existing SDD to the new larger ssd. You will need an external usb - sata connector in order to connect the new SDD to your system to clone. They are around $25 at Best Buy.
Answered by BigD
Q: QuestionWill I need any additional cable such as a USB-SATA to connect for cloning? I have a Dell XPS 17 with dual SATA HDD bays (both running 500GB, 1TB total). Would removing one of the HDD and inserting the SanDisk in place will work for the cloning process?
Asked by 80sGuy.
- A:Answer You certainly could use an external USB-Sata hub to do the cloning. But in answer to your question about cloning using the bays in your computer, I am going to assume you want to clone the boot drive, so this should work with the 2 bays and most cloning software. If for some reason you are cloning the non-bootable disk, then you will only be able to use cloning software that can boot from an external device like DVD or USB drive.
