Only if you MOVE the files. If you COPY them, the files will be in both places.

Your files will stay on the computer as long as you do not delete them or cut them when transferring the files. AKA use ctrl + C and ctrl + v

That's up to you: if you tell the computer to MOVE the photos, it erases the originals. If you tell it to COPY them, the originals are unchanged.

No you don't. But since you've saved them on the USB you can delete off the computer to free up space.
