• The flash drive is formatted with fat32 out of the box, but I would recommend reformatting to exfat so that you don't run into any of the limitations of the fat32 file system, such as it's inability to handle files larger than 4GB.

• FAT32 is the preferred format generally speaking, It will read and write to any OS version of both PC's and Mac's.
